Terms & Conditions


1. DRIVER’S AGE: Minimum age 25 years old, maximum age 75 years old.
2. DRIVER’S LICENSE: International or National held for at least one year.
3. MINIMUM RENTAL: One day (24 hours). The cost for every extra hour is 7 Euros.
4. TRAFFIC FINES: All traffic fines and parking tickets incurred during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
5. OUR PRICE INCLUDES: – Full Damage Waiver (F.D.W.) with zero excess. – Free airport delivery – Road assistance – Unlimited mileage – Free 2nd driver – Kefalonia road map – Taxes & VAT included.
6. INSURANCE:
Full Damage Waiver (F.D.W.) with zero excess.
All our rentals include Full Damage Waiver insurance with zero excess. With this insurance you are 100% covered unless you are at fault. In the event of damage or theft, you are not required to pay any excess amount ( zero excess ). This insurance also covers the roof of the vehicle, glass windows ( windscreen included ), wheels, fire insurance and theft insurance.
No credit card deposit or block required with this insurance.
The car must always be driven on tarmac (asphalt) roads.
No insurance coverage shall apply to:
  – Damages caused to the lower part (underbody) of the car.
  – Damages, loss or theft of personal belongings kept in the car.
  – Loss or damage of vehicle keys
  – Any incident inside or outside the car during transport by ship or any other means.
  – Any incident occurred while the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs or
     the driver has no driving license.
  – Accidents caused when the driver has not been declared in the rental contract.
  – Scratches at the exterior of the vehicle that are caused by the client’s negligence or
     intention. The scratches must be paid in total by the client himself.
7. All Rates Include 24% VAT
8. Gasoline (fuel): Paid by the customer. Customer should return the car back with the same level of fuel. Finsauto Car rental can not refund any money back!
9. A minimum charge of 30 euros for deliveries and collection after 23.00 – 08.00 hours.
10. Ferrying of the car is prohibited without the authorization of Finsauto Car rental.
11. No cancellation Fee but please inform us as soon as possible.
12. The customer should keep the car clean till the collection. If the car is not clean Finsauto can charge the client for cleaning the car.
13. Key Loss: If the keys are lost or damaged the customer is responsible for the replacement costs.
14. BABY SEAT: Free.
15. BOOSTER: Free.
Due to insurance rules you are required to fit the baby/booster seat yourself.
In case of an accident, breakdown or theft involving your rental car you should contact Finsauto immediately who will instruct you on how to proceed.
